- No Godmodding: Though you are given the right to create your own spells and have your freedoms here in Hogwarts, it's not to be confused with being able to become invincible or control any other character. All that jazz.
- Disobeying: Though disobeying the rules in Hogwarts is fine, we cannot have anyone simply creating their own rooms or whole new rules in Hogwarts. The guidelines of the Harry Potter Universe still apply.
- Swearing/Vulgarity IC: Vulgarity and swearing is fine so long as it is kept in character. Anything out of control will be dealt with accordingly.
- Common Sense: Please just have some of it. Any personal attacks, bullying, crude behavior OOC, or anything of the sort, will not be tolerated. If you are a victim of anything that can be taken as a threat, report the user to the moderators or proboards immediately.
- NSFW: Nope, not allowed. ProBoards rule. Take it somewhere else.
- Posting: Any thread that one is to start is to be labeled at the end of the title with [Open] or the character(s) name(s) involved in it all in brackets. If someone would like to be added to a private roleplay, they must message one of the users that is in that RP and ask for permission to post. If permission is granted, the names of whom is in the RP must be adjusted accordingly. Keep OOC chat in IC posts to a minimum.
An example of this is "[Open] Flying" or "[Dirk, Jake] Dramatic Title about Being Gay". - Activity: You're asked to be active here with your character(s) at least two, three times a week at a minimum, staying within the post length minimum of an average-sized paragraph. We understand if you're busy, but please be courteous of other members here and their activity level compared to yours. Keep in touch with the Hiatus board and be sure to communicate other members.
- Creating Spells: A spell of your own should be run by one of the admins. It must be logical, be able to sit in an already-made spell category, and again, not have any elements of godmodding, though manipulation in relation to spells that are already made is allowed.
- Communication: Stay in touch with your fellow roleplayers. If you are a professor, be sure to post in the plotting section about some classes of yours. Students are to post in those and attend. Don't be afraid to ask to join private roleplays and open your character to more than just those they interact with canonly. Everyone should post in the plotting section for some reason or another within the first few days of acceptance. Plotting also includes speaking to others about relationships the characters may/may not have had in the past, relatives, and what has happened in the past involving those characters.
