Alright soldiers
This is me being a responsible admin and starting this nifty thread for us to plan things together as the superior group of children (we all know that we don't need to be called the alphas to prove this actuality because we don't need to compensate, we have too much dignity to be the equivalent of poorly endowed men driving 100 ft tall lifted trucks, let us allow our own dicks to humble us). Um, as for what to discuss first, since it's just you and me right now we can talk about maybe how they talk over the summer or if they do at all and such?? Because I feel like they definitely would, be it with letters or more modern-esque ways of communicating like chatting online and such.

We can cover how Dave and Jade met, and you can discuss with John when he turns up, since he and I already talked about how Dave and John met. Hm... They'd probably meet by having a common thing happen to them, like they both met in the nurse's office from something stupid injuring both of them, or their pets both escaped or got stuck in a tree or something. Or Goliath got stuck in a tree then Dave got stuck trying to get Goliath down and then Bec the rescue ferret tried to get Dave down and ended up just sitting there with the squad in the tree so Jade could find him and help or something.

Fucking everyone getting stuck in the tree holy shit. How does a bunny get stuck in a tree to begin with?? I like that but like goddamn how does a bunny get up there? Them both being in the nurse's office (probably on the first day of school or something) would be great too. If they got injured tho it'd be funny if they somehow injured each other. Or like we could combine the ideas and have them initially meet when Jade saves Dave from tree hell then they don't really talk all that much until they meet in the nurse's office and Jade's like "woah you were the guy that was crying in the tree, right?? :O"

I love that idea, I'm 100% game to go with that! Meeting as first years and just going from there. Jade was the protector from the start.
I actually think that relatives is something we'd have to discuss with Issy and Mandy with about Dirk, Jake, and Hal.
Hm... Past/current relationships? With Dave's demi thing and him being awkward as fuck, I don't think he'd have ever had one before. I'd say the closest he's ever been to a female too is with Jade since there's no Rose yet, and they're what I'd consider way closer to pale. And I'm not really sure where to place him on the popularity scale with others both in a friend/acquaintance way and in an attraction towards him romantically/sexually way?

Yesssss Jade to the rescue from the start. And yeah, we can pull Mandy and Issy aside sometime eventually and quickly discuss that.
I don't think I ever pinned a sexuality on Jade ever but I think pansexual would be really fitting since Jade's pretty open minded and such and just really enjoys just about everything. Tho I don't think she'd really bother with relationships all that much and especially in the past. She'd be too busy really enjoying school and being around so many people her age. I feel like seeing the relationships going on around her, she'd be much more interested in just watching and observing. Dave is like the "too hot, hot damn" on the popularity scale. Only not because he's a huge awkward nerd. He just looks super cool.
Jade might be closer to Dave than John but I guess that's something that'd be easier to gauge once I've interacted with Erom's John? But I feel like Jade and Dave's friendship might end up a lil closer (at least on Jade's part) since we're super close to start with.

Dave would be so much cooler if he could not ramble or keep his mouth shut holy shit. He could possibly come off as like adorably awkward because the HS readers see his behind the scenes loserness even more than the other HS characters do and people still love that idiot. We'll see. Despite how popular he is or not, my focus on him will be more like charisma and just overall fun and/or chill energy people like being around rather than being a heart throb or some shit, because that's boring.
And I can see that, since Jade never lived with John too. I think Dave will probably be equally as close to the two, just closer to each in different ways. Which kind of leads into how he and Jade would stay in contact over the summer, if at all?

Dave is kinda cool to his friends and they love him and that's all that matters. Dave is like, the farthest thing from a heart throb tbh. He's on occasion Mikorin level. And yeah, that would be boring. I like how you played Dave last year and a lot of how when we talk about headcanons and such.
I can definitely see them talking over the summer. Whether it's sending each other letters or talking online or whatever. They could probably do both probably. Jade wouldn't be *too* interested in the internet and such but I figure after she meets Dave and he makes a bunch of weird references that she doesn't get she'd probably want to go and research things and by the next year she might not be completely knowledgeable but she can at least make references back at him. I can also see Jade bugging Dave after they've known each other for a few years that she wants to visit him over the summer or something.

I don't really think actually being cool deems you as a heart throb or not honestly rather than popularity and looks/people being attracted to someone, or else Mikorin couldn't be deemed a heart throb either since he's like... And I'm sure we could plan some Harley/English visit to the Strider's house, I think last year it was mentioned bringing Jake and possibly John? That's something that'd have to be ran by Mandy though, that was hella fortnights ago when that was talked about, but I'm sure it'd be chill. UhhhHHHHHH and I'm gonna assume that for what terms they're on with each other, it's pretty much always chill and positive? Dave can get annoying and rambles but Jade is basically the only person to stay chipper around him and call him cool rather than a loser or something. Which is obvious he appreciates a fucking lot.

Ah yes. Jade and Jake both visiting the Strider home at the same time. What could possibly go wrong? A lot of things. A lot of things could go wrong. Especially if John gets added to this visiting trip. And yeah, they'd pretty much always be really chill and positive. They're both mega bros and Jade probably looks up to Dave in at least one way or another. Jade for the most part enjoys his rambling, it's funny and well yea, Dave is pretty cool. She does acknowledge that and the fact that he needs someone to tell him he's still really chill. Shrugs shrugs.

I'm trying to gauge Dave's self confidence, because he has Dirk and Hal and Bro and D, and he's living with brothers so it's not like he's 1v1 with Bro in the awful situation they're in in HS, but then again Dirk didn't really acknowledge Dave and Hal till they were older and Hal still chooses to have Dirk as his bro-senpai over Dave and D favors Hal and ahsjfgl I don't know. I'm just gonna try and channel what I did last year which was he having low confidence but more chill and somewhat better social skills. And just stick with Jade and John and Karkat as his meme team.
But please being them over to the apartment that's a beautiful train wreck waiting to happen. Are they going to have any classes together? We all should probably have a big discussion on classes and dorms soon...

They should definitely have classes together! :O I dunno which ones but yea definitely. We can bring that up in the skype chat later today when people are actually awake and see if people wanna join in on making class schedules. I don't actually know how that goes and if everyone has the same schedule for that one grade or what

To be honest I can't really say much about schedules either. I'm excited to get all that stuff sorted out, though.
Did we get everything we could covered with just us too? I figure feelings and who knows what should be discussed when Erom is here since he has the smitten John, heh. I wonder if asking the chat in general about if anyone is interested in relationships though would be good (except Dirk and Jake obviously, those two furries are beyond taken), so people aren't left out of their desired ship. Whether it be a current thing, future, or past just so a certain ship happened. *shrug* I dunno.
