-LOOKS-
Appearance (100 character minimum): 100% Irish and standing at a nice 6’5” & ½”, Freyir has a strong, athletic build more so from when he was younger but he works out often enough to keep in shape. He’s gained the nickname “Dualscar” from the two faint scars crossing over his nose which he got from a duel back in his 7th year at Hogwarts. He has a strong jaw and faint freckles that dot his face along his nose, forehead and a few on his chin. Unlike his son, Freyir has a much more masculine body type and actually grows hair places though he shaves regularly.

-ABOUT-
Personality (200 character minimum): Freyir has always had a grumpy and stubborn disposition, he grew up a serious child though all children have their goofy moments Freyir’s are just rarer than others. He also tends to be very jealous and possessive of things and people. Despite that he can be very charismatic when need be though this always tends to be more so with dealing with people of importance in a work sense of the meaning. While at a first meeting he can be cold and harsh Freyir has the actual ability to be kind and very protective of others. Though this is limited to his sons, Eridan and Cronus(though it doesn't show nearly as much with Cronus), Feferi and Astris.
Background (Why Hogwarts? Childhood? Any connections to other characters?): Freyir was born an only child on November 3rd in Dublin, Ireland. He was raised sternly and with the idea that being a pureblood meant everything so he grew up with a stubborn and fairly arrogant attitude. At the age of 11 Freyir is sent to attend school at Hogwarts where he was sorted into Slytherin. There he met Feferi’s mother and became good friends with her. During his second year Freyir met Astris Captor, a 4th year Ravenclaw, and developed a small liking towards him. While having his romantic advances ignored him and Astris did become friends. The friendship lasted a short three years until Astris graduated. The next year was uneventful and his own 7th year Freyir met Marine Valentine who had the previous year moved from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic to Hogwarts. The two bonded quickly and soon became inseparable. That same year Freyir got into a particularly violent duel which resulted in the scarring on his face. The scars healed well though are still fairly easily seen on his face.
After graduating with the help of his father Freyir secures a job with the Ministry of Magic and continues seeing Marine. After roughly six year, mostly because Freyir is a big baby, the two get married and have Cronus and then Eridan roughly a year later. Around the same time of Eridan's birth the small family goes to help Ms. Peixes and a little over a year later Marine passes away from sickness. Freyir falls into a depression but with the help of Ms. Peixes and even baby Cronus, Eridan and Feferi he recovers. As the boys grow up Freyir unconsciously treats Eridan better than Cronus, perhaps because Eridan is the baby of the family, perhaps because he expected a lot more from Cronus that he should maybe even because Cronus looks strikingly like his mother.
The subject is still very sore and after a few years Freyir decides to go into teaching and returns to Hogwarts after making sure Cronus and Eridan are comfortable and ok with staying at the Peixes’ residence. Upon returning to Hogwarts Freyir meets Astris again and is fairly surprised with the overall changes in him. The two reconnected and their friendship started up very quickly though it didn’t take long for the relationship to change into something a bit more…intimate. Though neither professor will give a straight answer on their relationship it’s not hard to tell that there is definitely something going on. Along with meeting Astris again Freyir also became quickly acquainted with Azazel Makara, a relation he really would rather not have.
When Cronus comes to join him at Hogwarts he has high hopes for his son, though when he is sorted into Gryffindor it's a bit of a disappointment. The thought that his son would be sorted into his own house is one that was in high hopes. He's not truly let down until Cronus starts to act out during his first year, knowing these are just crys for attention he closes himself off from the boy a little more. The next year his expectations are much lower for Eridan and is pleased when the boy is sorted into Ravenclaw, a house quite fitting for such a smart son in his own opinion.
For Professors, Why is your character teaching the class they are?: Freyir has always excelled when it comes to history of any sort, the history of magic not being an exception. It's a truly interesting subject to him and he enjoys talking about it about as much as he enjoys the sea.
Quirks & Et cetera (Anything else you would like to add?): He collects ships in bottles and stuff of that sort, his love of the ocean may possibly have come from his late wife...it absolutely did. He's also gained a slight fondness for the stars and space, not like that has to do with anything in particular though.
