He has a stitched up left eye and very rarely is not wearing his hat, he also forgets to shave most days and looks scruffy no matter what by the end of the day, even if he does. Hes pointy just about everywhere and fairly short only being about 5' 6" and fairly lithe. He has a tattoo on his wrist of a spade and a large one on his back of a spade with knives through it and a skull in the middle. He has a few bullet scars here and there from his days as a stick up artist and a crook. He walks with a slight hunch and his face pointed at the chin and teeth more pointed then most people.

Personality (200 character minimum): He is pretty much insane. He really does not give a shit about his job but through has found that kids are really fucking fun sometimes, he still hates them anyway. He is stubborn as fuck and convincing him to do anything without making it sound like it was his idea in the first place is near impossible. He is indifferent to the other professors and tends to just stick to Droog and occasionally hangs out with his kid, Slick is slightly disconcerted at how much the angry parts of Karkat reminds himself of... himself, but he's slightly proud too. He is also pretty fucking lazy when he wants to be but can accomplish any task in record time if he feels the need to.
Background (Why Hogwarts? Childhood? Any connections to other characters?):
He got a job at Hogwarts purely because Droog lied about his credibility, he is actually a terrible teacher and spends most classes talking about the good old days, back when using a little magic, a lot of luck, a get-away van, and a shit ton of bullets could make someone rich. He spent most of his years from 16 to around 38 as a stick up artist, a crook, thief, heister, and all around jack of all trades criminal. At around 36 he fell during a heist up in the sticks of Canada and broke his leg real bad. Luckily Droog got him and the rest of the crew out and since Droog made sure that none of the crew were actually wanted ever. Slick easily went to the hospital and got treated, thankfully it was Canada or he would have had to rob the hospital on his way out. At 37 he got married and settled down out in New York with long time rival short time wife.
His wife, who he affectionately called Snowman, ironically of course, got a job under a really shady pureblood named Murphy King. Jack was real suspicious about him and used some of his old contacts to get details, his prodding was not unseen so Scratch decided to take care of the issue permanently, he called his newest employee to his office, aka Snowman, and hexed her with Imperio and sent her to kill Slick. What he did not expect was for Slick to not notice that the trench coated figure coming at him with a knife was his wife and he proceeded to gun her down like it was pretty much nothing, you know till he got there. A few nights spent curled up on the ground and a few more spent drinking himself almost to death, he disappeared off the grid, not even Droog could find him.
He showed back up about 10 years to the day of the mysterious murder of Mrs. Noir, as King left the casino he ran into trouble with his car, all the tires had been slashed. He got out of his car and noticed the short and pointy figure down the alley, after some angry yelling from party Stabbers United and blowhard prodding by party Big, Bad, and Ugly, Slick challenged him to a magic duel. King obviously accepted because if there was another wizard in the area that could even come close to matching him he would have already had them killed, imagine his surprise when he was beaten back to the point of being backed against the wall. Expecting to be blasted with some sick vengeance majyks he readied a defensive spell and planned a counter attack in mere seconds, however Slick expected this (not really) and proceeded to just stab him to death with his wand. He fled the scene, the city, the country, and got back in touch with his old crew mate Droog, who with some well placed lies got him a position as a teacher at some magic school he barely cared about and lays low there to this day not caring about his job but somehow still keeping it.
Sometime during that 10 years he accidentally knocked some gal up in a drunken stupor and when the child starting exhibiting magical abilities he swooped in and stole it away from the poor muggle. He ended up allowing the kid to keep his muggle last name to hide him from the mob that hunts for the asshole who stabbed their boss to death.
For Professors: Why is your character teaching the class they are?
He is actually top notch at defending against dark arts spells, having worked at it for 10 years straight. He could be a really good teacher, if he actually cared about his job or kids in general. He really doesn't care all to much, too be honest he's gone a bit crazy and any actual teaching he does is usually ended with some way how 'just stabbing the guy works too". Often he just tells stories and goofs around. He also helped pull some pranks on other professors and tells the kids how to push all of Droog's buttons.
Quirks & Et cetera (Anything else you would like to add?):
He collects knives, and sharpens the end of his wand. It doesnt seem to mind that much. He still has a large mass of wealth from his heisting days and might, other than Droog, be the richest guy around, but he never uses any of it so no one can really tell. He signs everything as Spades Slick and has a drinking problem that Droog is trying to fix, he also is secretly in a sorta of relationship with Droog but he is way to stubborn to accept that he might have any feelings, same with Droog.
