Jane laughed, her friends' attitude was infectuous. The car was most certainly more fun with everyone inside of it. She expected the ride to go quite fast. She wondered what kind of things the rest of the group was planning, for now she would just make do by answering Roxy's question.

"I can guarantee there is no Crocker blood in my cookies, Dirk. And to answer roxy's question, I did absolutely nothing this summer. I'd even go as far as to say that you guys were lucky to talk to me; I was grounded all summer!" Jane replied. She decided to not even answer the romance question, her friends knew that if something had happened, they would be the first to know.
