This is it, this is the day. This is the morning you leave for your new adventure- Feferi's mother had promised to pick Eridan up later after the train had left, as she hadn't probably felt like standing around magical folk for the wait. Per to your arrival you had hopped out with your kid brother and gotten your luggage as well as made sure the baby animal hidden in your pocket was safe and hadn't fallen out on the way here. You tote your trunk and small carry on mail bag with you, glancing to your brother as you take his hand and head into the station.
You'd gotten your letter a while ago back in August, and to your brother's joy you promised to let him come to see you off and travel with you to Diagon Alley! He even now you noticed was jittery. Even as you two entered the station and looked for the fabled ninth and tenth platforms you were subtly nervous...despite you already knowing spells and magic on your own accord ...you were probably more nervous than Eridan was being here, and he was the one not coming until next year!! You may be only ten, unlike most of the children to be at the station's secret platform, but you were just as talented, your brother had assured you that much.
As you walk into the bustling area and stand by the many muggle trains, you wonder how ever did they never figure this platform never existed. Oh well, cool secret you suppose. The nippy air outside makes you pull your jacket about you, it was cold and you had chilly goose pimples..for resort you at him as you tug your trolly to a halt in front of the pillar. "You ready Eri?"

Eridan was very nervous for today. He didn’t want Cronus to leave for Hogwarts, but he was also very excited for him too! It meant that his brother would be able to escape the big house that only held the four of them. It also meant that Eridan would be without his brother until the summer came. He takes a deep breath and clings to his slightly older brothers hand and follows him. This was way more people than he’d ever been around. More than at his grandparents’ house even! There had been so much going on this morning, making sure Cro had all his stuff and getting his trunk into the car and driving into the station and then actually getting TO the station! It was so much to take in! Eridan has one hand curled around Cronus’ and the other on his brother’s trolley, he was helping push it since the dumb thing was so heavy. It was still a shock that he wouldn’t be able to see Cronus for 10 whole months, it upset him still even though he’d had since august to get used to the idea. But it wasn’t like he was going to show it now! Nope! Not a bit! Even though he wanted nothing more than to throw a fit and demand that Cronus stay home.
He looks around to eye all the older people walking to and fro around them, a lot rushing to get to their train probably. Some people glance at the two children walking along but don’t actually stop to bother them. Whatever, that was for the best. Cronus knew where they were going and Fef's mom was going to come when the train arrived so that's all that matters. Eridan clings to Cronus’ hand and pushes further into his side just a little bit more after yanking his scarf more tight and securely around his neck. This was the last time he’d get to see Cronus in person until the summer. The thought nearly brought tears to his eyes but with quite a bit of concentration he wills the tears away and keeps on marching, even if the act is a little hard now that he’s so close to Cronus.
The two boys stop in front of a pillar and Eridan tenses up a bit, he remembered this part. This was the part where you run at the wall. Eridan remembered the times when his dad would tell this story, especially how he tripped half in the wall and had to quickly scramble in though some muggles screamed when they had noticed him. Eridan looks over at Cronus and nods quickly though this causes his glasses to fall down his nose a bit so he shoves them back up. Eridan wasn’t much shorter than Cronus, he’d always been a bit taller for his age and really it almost looked like the two were sort of twins despite Eridan's hair being more red and Cro's being more blonde, which in the end Eridan didn't mind at all.

You had spent most of the morning agonizing over making sure you had had everything together and as thought of, making sure that everything was in order for your little brother's comfort. You'd even left your favorite blanket at home that probably smelled like you (and brotherly cuddles I'm sure) for Eridan to sleep with if he missed you too much. You can feel your brother's tight grasp on your hand, to which you give Eridan's hand a soft squeeze. "It's alright Eri- we'll be fine, I think the two of us together have more fineness than Daddy did his first day!" You know he's been kindof dreading this day..it's not as if you didn't know eachother well by now. I mean, you only had eacho- well no Eridan had Feferi, but still. He was your kid brother and you knew he already felt like you might have left him since the last week has been nothing but preparation. It didn't damper your mood, but you knew he'd miss you..and he hopefully knew you'd miss him more than he'd realize.
You note Eridan's nod he half stepped back and counted down from three- running towards the wall yanking the trolly with him. You already felt so excited, but the wall in front of you was a bit of a barrier (not only physically) but mentally going into the wizarding world!
Once the barrier is broken and you two rush through- the bustle is continuous but there are children all around of many ages, all waiting at the empty tracks for the train to come steaming in. The two were early...You mightave fudged the time they were supposed to be there a little for fun's sake. A nervous but mischievous grin stirs onto your lips as you brush back your curly strawberry blonde hair, finally letting go of your trolly for a moment to do the same gesture to Eridan in silent comfort. Wow you two look like almost identical twins. Your only difference, say for the hair color, is that you're a little thicker build than your sibling, perhaps this and you eye color.
"Look-see we made it, no worries you can relax!" You reassure him- but he'll surely note the time and the train's absence. Woops.

Eridan blinks over at Cronus and nods; he wasn’t much of a talker in this kind of situation. Instead Eridan chose to chew on the inside of his cheek which was well, a terrible habit but then again it was better than biting his nails…right? Sure. The point being that Eridan was probably about as nervous as Cronus was, and Eridan wasn’t even leaving yet! He’d be leaving in a few years. Today Cronus was going to Hogwarts, not Eridan. “I know.” Eridan mumbles and kicks his foot against the floor. “Dad’s dumb sometimes so he tripped. You won’t trip though.” Eridan stares at the wheels of the trolley and pouts. Sure Eridan still had Feferi back home, but that didn’t mean that he wouldn’t miss Cronus. He’d miss his brother more than anything else in the world. Like…like if he lost his stuffed seahorse, Elladora. Eridan was pretty sure that Cronus was going to miss him too, Cro tended to be a big baby sometimes, but then again so did he. Eridan had a plan though that would probably help with that though…hopefully.
Eridan blinks back to reality as he’s being yanked forward towards the wall, he squeaks and stumbles forward with his older brother. Clinging tight to him he manages just barely not to trip. On the other side though he does run into the trolley and grunts before looking up and around at all the kids bustling around. Everyone was older than them. Well, almost. There were some really small kids being carried or yanked along by parents but that wasn’t where Eridan’s attention was being drawn. It was to the empty train tracks…wasn’t the train supposed to be here already? Eridan frowns and looks around, they were early then? What now? He looks over to see Cronus’ devious little grin and it just puzzles him more before it dawns on him. Oh! Cro planned this! A small smile spreads on Eridan’s face and he wiggles a bit in place. Eridan watches his brother push back his hair and he unconsciously does the same.
“So, we’re early. What now?” Eridan tilts his head at Cro and gives him a curious look. He wanted to do something fun before Cro left! It’d also be cool to be able to give Cronus his going-away-present in a well…better place.

The elder Ampora’s smirk grows within a few moments of seeing the small smile creep onto his younger brother’s freckled face. Having watched Eridan’s mind whirling for a moment (as well as mimic him my lord how much he found it unnerving their unconscious habits were), Cronus knows that the two were in for some real fun now, seeing as the two hadn’t gotten out much lately.
Cro’s eyes stray over his brother’s reddish locks of hair and over to the food booths along the far side of the tracks, waiting for hungry morning customers. Cronus knows he himself hadn’t eaten, and he figured since they’d been cooped up in Miss Peixes’s house for so long…well a treat was in order.
“Some breakfast before my steel carriage awaits? There’s some shops down by the alley there, we can grab somethin t’ eat and rummage up some fun in the meantime!” Cronus chimed as he rolled his trolly round pointing it in tow of the shops.
“Are you hungry?” The eleven year old asks half absentmindedly as he people watches around, seeing what the food court strip had to offer from afar; only to glance at his brother with shining green eyes waiting for a response.
