His outfit is frequently covered in ash from Basilisk slithering all over him, he's rarely ever without the snake. Caliborn is Scottish, clearly denoted by the accent, hair as fiery as his personality, and deep green eyes. He usually wears his uniform cloak on all occasions, with his wand tucked into the belt of his pants. The boy is covered in freckles and can’t tan to save his life. The most unique thing about his outfit are the Slytherin-striped suspenders he wears loose hanging off his belt down onto his legs. He does not tuck in his shirt or vest.

Personality (200 character minimum): Caliborn has strong opinions on everyone and frequently voices them in either English or Parseltongue, depending on whether he wants them actually heard in the individual situation. He's headstrong, and will twist things to make himself right in every situation. He has an animosity toward Mudbloods, thinking he's significantly better than them and that they don't have a right to be at Hogwarts. He has a lot of animosity in him, and is pretty much prepared for a fight 24/7. He challenges other students to duels frequently, it’s a wonder he hasn’t been expelled yet really. He’s found in detention often, usually for mudblood slurs, threatening teachers, or hexing other students. He has the ability to be nice, if he feels like it will benefit him (usually only for trying to be sneaky or tricky). He can be mildly tolerable when he wants to be, with the right people, if they can deal with being repeatedly insulted. He has an affinity for dark magic and dueling magic, but is also fascinated with the care of magical beasts so long as they’re not “horrible pansy creatures” like unicorns or anything else benign. He’s very over-the-top and dramatic in every situation, unless he pays enough attention to tell that’s what the person wants, then he makes an effort to be as dismissive as physically possible. Essentially, if Caliborn thinks you want one thing he will make it his goal to make sure you get the opposite.
Background (Why Hogwarts? Childhood? Any connections to other characters?): Caliborn and his sister, Calliope, started out as twins joined at the hip in the womb. Thanks to magic, they were able to be separated from one another 100% safely, with only a matching set of crescent moon shaped scars on either of their hips. A pureblood, he grew up in a magical household full of pampering and spoiling, hence his "my way or the highway" nature. He and his sister grew up with a pair of inattentive parents who were hardly ever around and a multitude of servants and nannies. Caliborn has bullied his sister since birth, belittling her and keeping her at his whim. Previously one of the Slytherin team's beaters, he was banned from playing Quidditch when he kept "missing" the ball in favor of nearby opposing team members. Caliborn has an unrequited crush on Dirk, and shows it by being extra terrible to Dirk and Jake both. He challenges Jake to wizarding duels practically every time the other boy comes anywhere in his line of vision. Despite excelling in magic, Caliborn is terrible in any actual physical fights. John is the reason he's banned from Quidditch, the two of them fight each other constantly (mostly because John dislikes his treatment of Calliope). They often end up in detention with each other due to these fights...and then get into another one while in detention. In his final Quidditch match, Caliborn spotted John going after the bludger, and made a beeline for him, smacking John off his broom and causing what would have been rather severe injuries if it weren't for quick magical healing AND also causing the bludger to bash the teammate John was attempting to protect. Caliborn was never permitted to be on the Quidditch team again.
Quirks & Et cetera (Anything else you would like to add?): Komodo Dragon Patronus. Caliborn doesn't know how to handle affection and will typically just blast any offenders to his person with Stupefy and run. He has conversations with Basilisk frequently, and treats the snake almost like a diary. Other parselmouths could probably dig up some dirty secrets on Caliborn if they ever managed to get hold of the snake without it's master.
