Character Name: Roxy Lalonde
Professor or Student?: Student
Age: 16
Year (Students only): Sixth
Subject (Professors only): N/A
House: Ravenclaw
Wand Wood, Core, and Length: Pear, Unicorn Hair, 11 ¾”, unyielding
Position on the Quidditch Team (Optional): Seeker
Pet (Optional): Vodka Mutini
Patronus: Chipmunk
Owl:
(Roxy lovingly named her Glinda.)
Appearance (100 character minimum):
Roxy is a tall girl for her age, measuring in at a whopping five feet, nine inches tall. Due to being born with albinism, she has pale pink irises and smooth, milky white skin, that matches uniformly with the snowy white of her hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes. This, of course, makes going out in the sun quite a challenge, but with thoroughly practiced charms (so thorough), the gesture is easy enough. While she is particularly confident and has long accepted her appearance, which she fondly regards as a sort of frosted aesthetic, she is keen on decorating her features with perfected cat eye liner and mascara, and the striking contrast of her signature black lipstick. Roxy isn’t especially busty, but she does sport a soft hourglass figure, and somewhat long limbs.

Personality (200 character minimum): Roxy is a very spunky girl. She is particularly upbeat most often cheery, despite whatever obstacles she is faced with on a daily basis. While she does encounter difficulties as often as the next person, she is careful to hide the toll that they take on her spirits behind her cheerful exterior. Her friends mean the world to her, and she takes pride in being a sort of “mom” to the gaggle of youngsters, particularly fixated with the younger Strider boy, Hal, whom she none too often coddles. She is extremely loyal, and would do nearly anything for her friends, all within a confident stride. She may seem especially confident and self assured on the exterior, but she has plenty of her own insecurities. Roxy has a big heart and is easy to endear oneself to, while she herself is nothing less than quick to crush on anyone whose personality she takes a liking to. In short, she can be very flirtatious at times.
Background (Why Hogwarts? Childhood? Any connections to other characters?): As far as Roxy can remember, she has harbored a keen fascination with everything that falls in the magical world. She can’t honestly recall a time that she didn’t hold such an interest in the wizarding world, but for most of her life, as much as she had fancied the idea of witches and wizards, she didn’t actually believe that her so sought after magical world could exist. The arrival of her letter from Hogwarts on her eleventh birthday was such a treat. If we’re talking impact, it practically hit her like a huge, castle sized sack of magical folk shaped bricks. She was ecstatic to read the letter, and quite possibly counted down the days until her trek to her future and the dreams she had clung to for most of her life. Of course, as a girl, Roxy was very closely connected to her mother, and it saddened her to leave the woman behind, but both of them looked forward to the possibilities that encompassed her future.
Roxy has close bonds to several other students, including most, if not all of the Strider boys, particularly Dirk and Hal, Jake English, with whom she has long held correspondence with, mostly via internet (the meeting was surely a Kodak moment, but photos were hardly necessary, now that she would be attending school with English), and Jane Crocker. She has many other close companionships, but these are the most notable few.
Quirks & Et cetera (Anything else you would like to add?):
As a result of a disconnect between processing speed and rate of verbal expression, Roxy tends to slur her words a bit here and there, especially when she is excited about something.
The class that she most looks forward to would have to be potions, however, as a very intelligent and quick learner, she has the capability to excel in nearly all of the subjects that she is presented with. She is a very enthusiastic student usually, and enjoys most every class.
